Mighty Max by Harriet Ziefert, illustrated by Elliot Kreloff 2008Max's imagination is full of superheroes. He uses monkey bars, a pile of rocks and his bicycle to act out his dreams. He and his dad take a trip to the beach where Max is able to use his 'saving the day' powers with aplomb. His dad wants him to calm down, but Max wants to be the hero who saves the day.
